5 tricks to make perfume last longer when it's hot
We know that when temperatures rise , our perfumes can fade faster than we would like.
But don't worry, we've got all the tips and tricks you need to keep your equivalency fragrances with you throughout the day, no matter how hot it gets!
Moisturize your skin
Drinking enough water and protecting your skin's moisture with creams is extremely important so that your perfume lasts longer in hot weather.
Apply a light moisturizer to your skin before applying the fragrance. Well-hydrated skin tends to retain odors better.
Don't rub your perfume on your wrists
Although it is a very common habit, the truth is that it has been proven that it alters the aroma, and much more when it is hot!
Avoid rubbing the fragrance into your skin after applying it. This can break the molecules and reduce the duration of the aroma.
Apply fragrance to pulse points
Spray the fragrance on pulse points such as the neck, wrists, behind the ears and on the inside of the elbows.
The reason? These areas tend to generate heat and will help spread the scent.
Use long-lasting fragrances
When choosing a fragrance, opt for those labeled "eau de parfum" or "parfum." These have a higher concentration of essential oils and tend to last longer compared to eau de toilette or cologne.
At LAROME we only produce "eau de parfum".
